Early Bird was founded in February 2021 on a set of foundational beliefs. First, early childhood education, which encompasses physical, social, emotional, creative and cognitive learning, is the key to unlocking a child’s full potential. Second, working American families rely on quality childcare to be able to work and provide for their loved ones. Third, despite this critical importance of early education and childcare, there is a national shortage of quality early childhood education schools. This is largely due to growing operational challenges such as recruiting and retaining quality teachers, complying with stringent regulatory requirements and adapting to new technologies to engage with parents. Early Bird was created with the premise that a well-resourced network of quality schools can address and flourish under these challenges, while maintaining the individuality or “secret sauce” of each of its partnered schools through a decentralized approach.
Safety and compliance comes first above all, always. We do not cut corners nor tolerate situations or behaviors that compromise safety.
We exist to serve and support others. No job is too small. Ownership serves and supports management, management serves and supports teachers, and teachers serve and support our children and families.
Growth is at the core of Early Bird. Our children grow during their most formative years, our staff have unprecedented growth opportunities and the organization is relentlessly striving for growth in quality and scale.
Early childhood education is more than a job, it is a calling. We take great pride in the responsibility we have to our communities by providing exceptional quality of care and education to our children.
It takes a village to raise a child. Our staff work together with each other and our families to provide the best outcome for our children.
Everyone deserves to be treated with kindness and respect. We are kind to each other and to our families, no matter the circumstance.
The three founding partners shared a dream of entrepreneurship and a strong connection to early childhood education from their own personal experiences. We grew up in single parent or dual income households who relied on a myriad of childcare, preschool and afterschool services to get by. Early Bird represents our collective desire to advance the mission of early childhood education, to serve as a pivotal stepping stone for children to realize their potential and flourish while allowing parents to work and provide for their families.
We are proud to partner with leading early childhood education schools to provide exceptional care and education that stand out in the local communities they serve. We seek to build upon the unique and hard-earned reputation of each partnered school by empowering its educators with additional resources, investing in growth initiatives while leveraging best practices across our network.
